Go A & M Aggies!!!

Hey, I'm Brent Jackson the young adult director of Cross Roads Community Church and Engage Youth Ministry.  Not only do I have a heart for youth and to see the lives of our young people impacted by Christ - I am also a local dentist here in Farmington @ Farmington Dental Care, 327-0044!   I have a passion to share the Truth with young people and encourage those in their walk with the Lord!  I have an amazing wife Katrinna "Kat" and in September 2007 we were blessed with a baby girl Macee Jewel Jackson!  She's bound to be famous with a name like that!!!

Kat, Mace and I love spending time with family and friends - while always taking the time to game it up on the XBOX 360 or PS3!  Kat is incredibly talented and loves hanging with all the other mom's when she's not working in the yard or scraping some teeth at Farmington Dental Care as a Dental Hygenist.   I love playing sports and slinging the jams for the boys at FIGHT Nite!!!

DEPLOY Youth Ministry is the final step of ENGAGE Youth Ministry - DRAFT, ENGAGE, DEPLOY!   The vision of DEPLOY Youth Ministry is to provide an avenue for our young people to stay connected after graduation - as they are DEPLOYED into the 'real' world!  It is very common for a young person to not 'fit it' in a church body after high school...not old enough for the old folks and not in the high school ministry any more.  DEPLOY is here for that very reason.  Young adults (college aged) students are welcome to attend Wed Night EYM Wroship services but also meet for monthly Home Fellowship Group meetings that are TBA!  If you are not in High School but not ready to kick it with the old folks - I'd love to meet you and get you plugged into EYM and DEPLOY Youth Ministry!

What's up!? The names Wade Elftman - with a silent "T" - and I am the Youth Pastor of ENGAGE YOUTH MINISTRY of Cross Roads Community Church!  The Lord has blessed me with a beautiful wife, Jayme and an awesome baby boy - Gavin.  We've been attending CRCC sincce 2007 and have been serving with EYM ever since.  

I have the call on my life to preach His word wherever and whenever!  I am employed at the local Farmington Sherwin Williams Paint Store by day - and a "Masked Luchadora Wrestler" by night!  No not really but Nacho Libre is my hero!!!!  A couple things that my family and I love is spending time together however and whenever and always a nice cold Dr Pepper!!!  

ENGAGE Youth Ministry is all about making Christ-like disciples and encouraging the spiritual development of this generation...The Church!  Each ministry of EYM ((DRAFT, ENGAGE, DEPLOY)) are much of the same but all have their "special time" of connecting to others of the same age and life experiences.  Thus, allowing our young people to experience God through fellowship, worship, prayer, communion and God's Word - as we join together as one body in focus to ENGAGE with the one true God.  Here at EYM, there are a ton of opportunities for young people of all ages to discover their God given gifts and talents and most importantly how to use them.   Applying the simple fact that if we ENGAGE Christ we will IMPACT our world and those around us!!!  Come join us some time - I'd love to meet you and plug you into the Spirit-led youth minsitry of CRCC!  Check out the calendar for the next meeting time and come hang out!!!
